AIR FORCE COMMANDER PARTICIPATES IN 8TH INDO – SRI LANKA DEFENCE DIALOGUE

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, participated in the Sri Lanka–India Defence Dialogue held today (05 June 2025) at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayewardenepura.
The Sri Lankan delegation was led by the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) while the Indian delegation was headed by the Indian Defence Secretary, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh.

The high-level dialogue focused on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation, enhancing maritime security and exploring new avenues for collaboration in training and strategic engagement.
