
SLAF COMBAT TRAINING SCHOOL DIYATALAWA CONDUCTS COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME UNDER THE CLEAN SRI LANKA PROJECT

In line with the Clean Sri Lanka Project, the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa successfully carried out a Community Outreach Programme at B/Soragune Maha Vidyalaya, Haldummulla, yesterday (05 June 2025), under the patronage of Commanding Officer Air Commodore Rukman Dassanayake.
The initiative was designed to enhance community well-being and support the holistic development of students through a range impactful activities, including dental screening and oral health awareness, health education and leadership skill development workshops tailored school children. In addition, a series of informative lectures were conducted under the topics of Drug prevention and awareness on non-communicable diseases, Importance of sports and injury prevention, Road traffic accident prevention and National security awareness.
These initiatives brought tangible benefits to students in this remote area, providing access to free healthcare services, including dental consultations and educational support in areas often overlooked.
