In celebration of World Environment Day 2025, the Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAF launched the ‘Clean Today, Green Tomorrow' initiative across all SLAF establishments. This effort is in line with the national ‘Clean Sri Lanka' campaign and aims to strengthen environmental responsibility through sustainable and community-driven projects.

Under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SVU, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, each establishment implemented its own environmental project on 06 June 2025, ranging from tree planting, organic gardening and composting to clean-up campaigns and eco-awareness programs. These initiatives were designed to address local environmental needs while promoting long-term ecological awareness within SLAF communities.
