The Defence Services Boxing Championship –2024/2025 which is a part of the 13th Defence Services Games organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force, was held from 11 to 12 June 2025 at the Gymnasium of SLAF Base Katunayake. More than 46 competitors representing the tri-services participated in the event. During the Championship, SLAF Women’s Boxing team was crowned as the Champions of the Defence Services Boxing in Women’s category with three Gold and two Bronze medals out of conducted 05 weight classes in Women’s category. Sri Lanka Army won the Men’s Boxing Championship while SLAF Men’s Boxing team secured the Runners-Up position of the Championship with two Gold, four Silver and four Bronze Medals out of conducted 10 weight classes approved for the Men’s category. Corporal Kumara HAWK and Leading Aircraftwoman Malshani LIN were nominated as the ‘Best Looser’ title of the Championship in  Men’s and Women’s categories respectively. 
   
The Director General Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal Ruwan Chandima graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the final awarding ceremony. Senior Officers and other ranks of tri forces were present to witness the event.
