SLAF TRADE TRAINING SCHOOL, EKALA SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ‘GUWAN MITHUDAM’ PROJECT AT MINUWANGODA GALLOLUWA ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala successfully concluded a ‘Guwan Mithudam’ community service project today (13 June 2025) at a mixed school located in a rural area by constructing and handing over a newly built ablution facility.
The school which accommodates a significant number of students from the surrounding community had long term challenges due to insufficient sanitation facilities. The newly constructed sanitary complex including two washrooms.
Under the directives of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala, Air Commodore Kolitha Abeysinghe and under the supervision of President Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF TTS Ekala, Mrs. Bhagya Thilakarathne, the project was successfully completed and ceremonially handed over to the school. The event was attended by the Principal of Minuwangoda Galloluwa Roman Catholic Primary School, members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Trade Training School Ekala and students.
