The Change of Command of SLAF Station Iranamadu was held today (20 June 2025) at the station premises. The Handing Over / Taking Over parade was conducted at the Station Parade Square, where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain DSS Seneviratne USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc., handed over the command to Group Captain J Amarasinghe USP, MHR, MHRM, Pg Dip (Def Mgt), Dip in psy, JP (All Island)

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain Captain DSS Seneviratne, will take over dues as Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly. The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain J Amarasinghe, previously held the appointment of Director Performing Arts before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu.
