The “Skill Wings” vocational training program organized by Seva Vanitha Unit commenced in collaboration with “Forever Skin Natural (Private Limited)” today (11 July 2025) at Air Force Headquarters. The inaugural session was conducted by Head of Activations & Promotions of Forever Skin Natural (Private Limited), Mr. Buddhika Wickramage and Head of Operations Chalmway (Private Limited) Mr. Kaushalya Weerakkody. The course aims to offer vocational training at discounted rates to airwomen/lady officers who wish to gain knowledge and skills for either post retirement employability or skill development for their primary job. Seva Vanitha Unit will partner with local educational and training institutions to offer courses to airwomen on a reduced course fee and training will be carried out in the respective institution.  

The impactful occasion was attended by the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, Secretary of Seva Vanitha Unit, Wing Commander Lilangi Randeni , officers serving at Seva Vanitha Unit and airwomen who are intending to follow the Vocational Training Programme.
