SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT ENHANCES SANITATION FACILITIES AT UDAYAPURA VIDYALAYA
Another phase of the ‘Guwan Mithudam’ Community Service Project, organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAF, was successfully completed with the renovation and provision of access to a washroom for the students and staff of Udayapura Vidyalaya, Ampara.
The project was carried out under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Regimental Training Centre (RTC) Ampara, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa. The official handing-over ceremony was held today (18 July 2025) at the school premises, and was graced by the Officer-in-Charge of the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF RTC Ampara, Flight Lieutenant BAMHL Athauda.
The event was attended by members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF RTC Ampara, a cross-section of non-commissioned officers, and representatives from the school, including the Principal, teachers and students.
The coordination and execution of the project were undertaken by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF RTC Ampara, with the full support and commitment of the Works Section of the station, ensuring the timely and successful completion of the initiative.
