The delegation of the No. 65 National Defence College (NDC) Course from India, who are currently in Sri Lanka as part of their Strategic Neighbourhood Study Tour, was airlifted from SLAF Base Ratmalana to SLAF Academy, China Bay, enabling their official visit to Trincomalee today (03 September 2025). Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Air Commodore Amal Perera.

This visit facilitated using three Y-12 aircraft from No 8 Light Transport Squadron at SLAF Base Ratmalana.
