AWARDING CEREMONY OF CERTIFICATES OF COMMENDATION AND QUALIFICATION INSIGNIA
The Awarding Ceremony for Certificates of Commendation and Qualification Insignia was held today (15 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Certificates of Commendation were presented to individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the Air Force. In addition, a Cabin Attendant Brevet was conferred upon an individual who successfully completed the requisite training course.
The event was attended by Director General Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal Ruwan Chandimal, Director General Logistics, Air Vice Marshal Gladwin Athapaththu, Director General Administration, Air Vice Marshal Thushara Sirimanne, Director General Construction Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Vajira Senadeera, Director General Electronics & Computer Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Asitha Hettiarachchi and other senior officers.
