The Inter Unit Elle Championship – 2025 was concluded yesterday (15 September 2025) at Athletic Ground SLAF Base Katunayake with a colourful awarding ceremony. The Director General Logistics, Air Vice Marshal Gladwin Athapaththu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Base Katunayake secured the Men’s Championship, while the SLAF Trade Training School Ekala claimed the Women’s Championship. SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as the Men’s Runners-up and the Technical Formation of SLAF Base Katunayake was placed as the Women’s Runners-up.

Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commodore Asela Jayasekera, Commanding Officer SLAF Trade Training School Ekala, Air Commodore Kolitha Abeysinghe, Chairman SLAF Elle, Group Captain Udaya De Silva, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, officers and other ranks attended to witness the event.
