COMMANDERS’ INSPECTION AT SLAF CTS DIYATALAWA
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, conducted the Commander's Inspection at SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa today (18 September 2025). Upon his arrival, he was received by the, Commanding Officer Air Commodore Rukman Dassanayake. The Commander reviewed the Commander's Inspection Parade, which was led by the Commanding Officer. During the parade, certificates of commendation were awarded to the following personnel in recognition of their exceptional contributions to both the School and the Air Force as a whole.

During the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the School, including the School Headquarters, No.30th Regt Wing, Training Wing Headquarters, Sports Section, Main Guard Room, Hospital, Trainees Airwomen Billet , Welfare Shop Complex, , Electronic Section, Swimming Pool, Pre – School and Horse Stable.
In conclusion, the Commander addressed all Officers, Other Ranks, Officer Cadets, Trainees and Civilian personnel and conveyed his sincere appreciation to the Commanding Officer and his team for their unwavering dedication and hard work in transforming civilians into fully-fledged servicemen. He further commended their commitment to uphold discipline, professionalism and the high standards maintained at the School, noting that such efforts play a vital role in strengthening the reputation of the Sri Lanka Air Force and in contributing to the nation’s progress.
