The Inter Unit Karate Championship 2025 was held at the Health Management Center, Thummulla, from 17 September to 18 September 2025. The Awards Ceremony took place at the same venue yesterday (18 September 2025).

The event was graced by the Director General General Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Indika Wickramasinghe as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura emerged as the Men’s Champions of the Inter Unit Karate Championship, while Tech Formation SLAF Base Katunayake secured the position of Men’s Runner-up. SLAF Trade Training School Ekala and SLAF Academy China Bay was able to secure joint Women’s Championship of Inter Unit Karate Championship 2025.

The event was attended by Chairman Air Force Karate, Air Vice Marshal Vajira Senadeera, Director Sports, Air Commodore Suresh Jayasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddika Piyasiri, Secretary Air Force Karate, Group Captain Jayaratne Amarasingha, members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees.
