A Children’s Day Programme was held at the Walana Children’s Development Centre on 01 October 2025, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Nilendra Perera. The event was organized by the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit, SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport, Mrs. Hansika Perera.

The children were treated to nutritious meals and presented with thoughtful gifts, making the occasion both enjoyable and memorable. The event was attended by a cross-section of officers and other rankers of the Station.
