A DELEGATION OF AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE COLLEGE VISITS AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS
A 19 -member delegation of Australian Defence College visited the Air Force Headquarters today (21 October 2025).
The delegation was led by Colonel Brandon Wood, along with officers who are currently on their field application and research visit to Sri Lanka.
The head of the delegation, Colonel Brandon Wood, along with several members, was accompanied by the Australian Defence Adviser, Colonel Amanda Johnston, when they called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe. Symbolic mementos were exchanged to mark the occasion.
Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commodore Asela Jayasekara conducted a presentation on the History, Post Conflict Role and Challenges of the SLAF. Members of the Air Force Board of Management and Senior Officers were present at the presentation.
