A Medical Oxygen Cylinder and a Regulator were recently donated at SLAF Base Anuradhapura to support the medical needs of the mother of Leading Aircraftman Sanjeewa Kumara GMMG (Operations Ground II).

The donation was made possible through the generous contribution of Mr. TNW Abeywardhane, an external donor who extended his support upon learning about the situation. The service person had earlier forwarded a request to the Base Commander, indicating that his mother was suffering from an illness requiring continuous medical oxygen support.

The official handing over of the Medical Oxygen Cylinder and Regulator took place at SLAF Base Anuradhapura with the participation of the Base Commander, Air Commodore Pradeep Piyarathne and members of the Seva Vanitha Unit at the Base.
