COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE DELIVERS GUEST LECTURE AT NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, was invited to deliver a Guest Lecture on the theme ‘Strategic Contributions of the Air Force in Safeguarding National Interests, Its Evolving Role in Modern Defence, and Integration within the Broader National Security Framework’ for the officers of the Tri-Services and Police of Course No. 04 at the National Defence College today (31 October 2025).

The Commandant of the National Defence College, Major General Chamila Munasinghe, received the Commander upon his arrival at the College. Thereafter, the Senior Directing Staff of the National Defence College, Brigadier Thusitha Bandara, delivered an introductory note on Air Marshal Edirisinghe before handing over proceedings for the Commander’s lecture.

Mementos were exchanged at the conclusion of the event between the Commander of the Air Force and the Commandant of the National Defence College to commemorate the occasion. Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe also endorsed his greetings in the Visitors’ Book, marking his visit to the prestigious institution.
