SLAF STATION PALAVI CELEBRATES 18TH ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Station Palavi celebrated its 18th anniversary yesterday (01 November 2025) with a series of social and recreational activities, organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore Nishantha Priyadarshana, together with all officers, other ranks and civilian staff.
The celebrations commenced with the customary Working Parade, reviewed by the Commanding Officer. The day continued with a friendly cricket tournament at the Station Sports Ground, where officers, airmen and civilian staff participated with great enthusiasm.
As part of the anniversary observances, a Shramadana campaign was conducted at the Puttalam Ayurvedic Hospital on 29 October 2025, aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and overall environment of the facility.
