ADJUTANT GENERAL OF THE STATE OF MONTANA NATIONAL GUARD CALLS ON THE COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE
The Adjutant General of the State of Montana National Guard and the Head of the Delegation, Brigadier General Trenton J. Gibson called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, today (13 November 2025).
During the meeting, Air Marshal Edirisinghe, Brigadier General Gibson and the delegates engaged in productive discussions on matters of bilateral importance, which included the strengthening of defence cooperation and the exploration of enhanced training opportunities. Moreover, the meeting provided a prospect for further solidifying the partnership between the Montana National Guard and the SLAF.
The event was attended by the ATAG-Air for the Montana Air National Guard, Brigadier General Trace Thomas, the Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Matthew House, Montana National Guard State Partnership Programme Director, Lieutenant Colonel Chris Cory and Montana Air National Guard State Command Chief, Chief Master Sergeant Amber Westie.
Representing the SLAF, the Director General Planning, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva, Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Dhammika Dias, Director General Aeronautical Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Gihan Senevirathna and the Director General Training, Air Vice Marshal Thushara Weerarathne, also joined the ddiscussion.
