A Bell 212 aircraft of No. 7 Helicopter Squadron was deployed to Delft Island to transport Advanced Level answer scripts due to adverse weather conditions in the area. The mission was completed safely and the answer scripts were handed over to the Northern Province Education Ministry without delay.

The mission was captained by Flight Lieutenant Bashitha Jayaweera, with Flying Officer Thashweer Weerakoon serving as the co-pilot, while Sergeant Abeykoon AMMAB and Leading Aircraftman Priyadarshana LRA performed duties as air gunners.
