The No. 49 Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake proudly celebrated 6th anniversary yesterday (27 November 2025). The celebrations commenced with the customary Working Parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Daham Wickramarathne. Following the parade, the Commanding Officer addressed all ranks of the Wing extending his sincere appreciation and words of encouragement.

The celebration concluded with a special sports event organized to strengthen unity among all CBRNE First Responders.
