A Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft arrived in Sri Lanka this evening (03 December 2025), carrying a contingent of 47 personnel from the Urban Search and Rescue Team, along with specialised Search and Rescue equipment, canine support assets, and essential humanitarian supplies intended to reinforce national relief and recovery efforts.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Major General Faheem ul Aziz (Retd), together with other representatives and Sri Lankan authorities including SLAF officials, attended the arrival of the aircraft.
