The Sri Lanka Air Force Dance Troupe participated in the Tourism Promotion Event held in Yangon, Myanmar, from 05 to 07 December 2025, following an invitation extended by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Myanmar.

The event was organized to promote cultural exchange and strengthen relations between Sri Lanka and Myanmar, with particular focus on Buddhist and traditional Sri Lankan cultural practices.

The SLAF team represented Sri Lanka at the event and presented several traditional dance items, including Up-Country, Low-Country and Sabaragamuwa dance forms, along with a traditional drum presentation.

The performances were observed by ambassadors, members of the diplomatic community, and other invitees present at the event.
