A guest lecture organized by the SLAF Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) on ‘Introduction to the Anti-Corruption Act and General Offences Related to Bribery and Corruption’ was successfully conducted today (10 December 2025) at Air Force Headquarters, in support of the Government’s initiative to observe National Integrity Week. Three distinguished officials delivered the session from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), Mr. Chethiya Goonesekera, President’s Counsel and Commissioner of CIABOC, Mrs. Subashini Siriwardena and Deputy Director General of CIABOC and Prevention Officer of CIABOC, Mrs Udeshika Jayasekara.

The speakers provided participants with valuable insights into the key provisions of the Anti-Corruption Act, reporting obligations and the national mechanisms established to prevent bribery and corruption in the public sector. 

The session was attended by Head of the Internal Affairs Unit, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva, members of the Air Force Board of Management, officers and airmen.
