SLAF STATION KOGGALA SVU CONDUCTS PSYCHOLOGICAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR MOTHERS
The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Koggala, under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Priyadarshana Hettiarachchi, conducted a Psychological Awareness Programme for mothers in the Habaraduwa area, with the objective of promoting mental well-being and self-care.
The programme was held at the Habaraduwa Divisional Secretariat and was organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit with the support and coordination of SLAF Station Koggala. Dr Indumini Soorya Bandara conducted an informative session, providing guidance on psychological well-being and coping strategies relevant to everyday life.
The event was attended by mothers from the Habaraduwa community, along with Airwomen and spouses of SLAF personnel from SLAF Station Koggala. Participants were provided with refreshments and nutrition packs sponsored by Maliban Sri Lanka, while lunch was sponsored by Mass Unichela Koggala. The programme was further supported by Zion Zee Company (Pvt) Ltd, contributing to the smooth conduct of the event.
