HELITOURS TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTRE ENTERS INTO TRAINING PARTNERSHIP WITH BLUE SKIES AVIATION SOLUTIONS
The Helitours Technical Training Centre (HTTC) entered into a partnership with Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd (BSA) on 12 December 2025 with the signing of an agreement aimed at enhancing aviation technical training services.
The agreement was signed at the premises of Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Ratmalana. The Director General Planning of the SLAF and Accountable Manager of Helitours (Pvt) Ltd, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva, signed the agreement on behalf of Helitours, while the Accountable Manager and Managing Director of Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Wing Commander Asitha Manage (Retd), signed on behalf of BSA.
Representing Helitours at the event were the Technical Training Manager, Air Commodore SPS Martino, and the Examination Manager, Squadron Leader PGM Weerasinghe. Blue Skies Aviation Solutions (Pvt) Ltd was represented by the Director Maintenance, Air Vice Marshal AH Wijesiri (Retd), and the Head of Maintenance, Group Captain SMAR Silva (Retd).
Under the agreement, students following the Basic Training Course in Aircraft Maintenance conducted by HTTC will undergo practical training at the BSA hangar facility in Ratmalana. This arrangement will enable trainees to gain hands-on experience in an industry-standard environment in compliance with applicable civil aviation regulatory requirements.
