INTER UNIT ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
The SLAF Inter Unit Archery Championship 2025 was successfully held on 29 and 30 December 2025 at SLAF Base Katunayake.
Regiment SLAF Base Katunayake emerged as the Overall Champions in both the Men’s and Women’s Championships, demonstrating outstanding performance throughout the competition. SLAF Base Katunayake secured the Men’s Runners-up position, while SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport became the Women’s Runners-up.
In the individual events, Wing Commander Diluka Kaluarachchi of Regiment SLAF Base Katunayake won the Gold Medal in both the 18m and 30m Men’s Individual events. In the Women’s category, Aircraftwoman Kulasinghe NKAS of Regiment SLAF Base Katunayake clinched the Gold Medal in the 18m and 30m Women’s Individual events.
The Archery Finals 2025 were graced by Director General Administration, Air Vice Marshal Thushara Sirimanne, as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by the Chairman of SLAF Archery, Air Commodore Priyamal Fernando, Secretary SLAF Archery, Group Captain Udaya Silva, along with other distinguished invitees and officials.
