SEVA VANITHA UNIT OF SLAF STATION IRANAMADU CONDUCTS A SCHOOL WELFARE PROJECT
In view of the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force, SLAF Station Iranamadu successfully carried out renovation work on the library building of Alagapuri Primary School, Kilinochchi, and officially handed it over to the school today (24 January 2026).
The project was conducted under the patronage of the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe. As part of the initiative, the library building was colour-washed and upgraded to provide a healthier and more conducive learning environment for the students.
With the objective of enhancing the welfare of schoolchildren, the President Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Mrs. Nadeeka Senevirathne, participated in the donation of school bags, books and stationery items to needy students of the school.
The event was witnessed by the Commanding Officer, officers and other ranks of SLAF Station Iranamadu.
