The Defence, Air and Naval Attaché of the Embassy of Ukraine in New Delhi and accredited to Sri Lanka, Colonel Volodymyr Bakai, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera, at Air Force Headquarters today (05 February 2026), on behalf of the Commander of the Air Force.

During the meeting, the Chief of Staff and the visiting Attaché engaged in a brief discussion on matters of mutual interest. The meeting concluded with the exchange of official plaques to commemorate the occasion.
