The fall out parade of No. 174-B Regular Airmen, No. 44-B Regular Airwomen, No. 42-B Direct Entry Regular/volunteer Airmen and Airwomen and No. 18-B Volunteer Airwomen Recruit Courses was held with great pride and military precision on 17 February 2026 at the SLAF Regimental Training Centre, Ampara. The parade was commanded by the Commanding Officer of the Advance Regiment Training School, Wing Commander Buddika Widanapathirana.

The occasion was graced by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Gihan Seneviratne as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer of the SLAF Regimental Training Centre, Group Captain Prabath Alexander along with invitees, officers and other ranks of the Regimental Training Centre witnessed the impressive parade.

A total of 245 Airmen and Airwomen were marched off the parade after successfully completing a strenuous training schedule. Addressing the parade, The Chief guest congratulated the trainees on the successful completion of their basic combat training and commended their dedication and perseverance. He further emphasized the honor and responsibility of becoming members of the SLAF, highlighting the importance of rendering committed service to the nation at this crucial juncture.
