The Inter-Unit Table Tennis Championship -2026 took place from 16 to 18 March 2026 at the SLAF Health Management Centre in Colombo. This year, a significant number of players participated in both the male and female events, leading to the identification of many young, talented players during the tournament. The final session and award ceremony were held today (18 March 2026) at the SLAF Health Management Centre in Colombo, graced by the presence of the Director General General Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Prasanka Martino, as the chief guest.

The Inter-Unit Table Tennis Tournament was organized for both the men’s and women’s categories, adhering to the rules and regulations of the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka (TTASL). The title of Overall Men’s Team Championship was clinched by SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura , while  SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as the runner-up.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Director of Sports, Air Commodore Prabhath Dissanayake, Secretary Air Force Sport Council, Group Captain Eranda Geeganage, Secretary of SLAF Table Tennis, Group Captain Suresh De Silva, members of the Air Force Sport Council and other invitees.
