The Graduation Ceremony of the No. 81 Junior Command and Staff Course was held yesterday (10 April 2026) at the auditorium of the Junior Command and Staff College, SLAF Academy China Bay. The event marked the successful conclusion of a comprehensive 14 weeks academic programme, attended by 27 Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force and 02 Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy.

The Director General Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal Ruwan Chandima graced the occasion as the chief guest.

In his address to the graduates, Air Vice Marshal Chandima emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and the pursuit of excellence in military leadership. He encouraged the Officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and service in their future appointments. He further commended the graduates for their dedication, perseverance and successful completion of the demanding course and extended his sincere congratulations on their achievements.
