SLAF SEVA VANITHA UNIT DONATES SENSORY AND EDUCATIONAL TOYS TO SERRIC
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit conducted a donation programme today (23 April 2026) at the Senehasa Education Resource Research and Information Centre (SERRIC), Narahenpita.
This initiative was made possible through the generous contribution of Mrs. Indrachapa Pallewela, who donated a range of specialized sensory and educational toys to support the children at the Centre.
A carefully selected collection of sensory and educational toys was handed over during the programme. These items will significantly contribute to enhancing sensory development, improving motor skills, strengthening communication abilities and supporting the overall cognitive growth of the children.
At present, the Centre provides care and guidance to 140 children with special needs and such contributions play a vital role in further strengthening the quality of care and therapeutic services provided.
