NO. 02 MTR & OW AT SLAF BASE VAVUNIYA CELEBRATES 12TH ANNIVERSARY
No. 02 Mechanical Transport Repair and Overhaul Wing at SLAF Base Vavuniya proudly celebrated its 12th Anniversary yesterday (28 April 2026).
The customary working parade was held on the same day and was formally reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Danushka Premadasa. The anniversary celebrations concluded with a cricket match, in which all members of the Wing participated enthusiastically.

In conjunction with this significant milestone, a renovation programme was carried out on 27 April 2026 at the Base temple premises as a mark of social responsibility.
