EAGLES’ QUADRANGLE CUP RETURNS FOR 5TH EDITION, MAKES FIRST APPEARANCE AT SIGIRIYA
The Air Force Eagles’ Golf Links and Courses, with the generous support of JAT Holdings (Pvt) Ltd as the Main Sponsor, will host the 5th Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup Golf Tournament 2026, an inter-club golf tournament that has become a highlight of the annual golfing calendar. The tournament will be held on 13 and 14 June 2026 at Eagles’ Citadel Golf Course – Sigiriya, marking the first occasion that this prestigious event will be staged at this unique venue. Set amidst the scenic surroundings of Sigiriya, the tournament will offer participants an exceptional golfing experience in one of Sri Lanka’s most renowned cultural and tourism destinations.
This team-based tournament is designed to strengthen inter-club friendship, camaraderie and healthy competition. The competition will feature 15-member teams from four clubs, with each team including two female golfers, competing for the Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup Trophy. The tournament will conclude with the awards ceremony on 14 June 2026.
The 5th edition of the Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup is mainly sponsored by JAT Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. The Automobile Partner is Browns EV (Pvt) Ltd and LOLC Finance, while Jetwing Hotels Ltd serves as the Hospitality Partner. The Transport Partner is NCG Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and the Motor Riding Partner is TVS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Supporting Partners include Pro Golf and King Charters.
The media press briefing was held today (04 June 2026) at Air Force Headquarters. A highlight of the event was the ceremonial unveiling of the Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup Trophy by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Gihan Seneviratne.
At the conclusion of the press briefing, the symbolic sponsorship cheques were presented to the Deputy Chief of Staff by the official partners of the 5th edition of the Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup.
