PAKISTAN NATIONAL DEFENCE UNIVERSITY (NDU) VISITS AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS
The delegation from the National Defence University of Pakistan paid a visit to the SLAF Headquarters today (22 June 2026). The delegation consists of 12 Officers, headed by Air Commodore Muhammad Sheheryar, a senior representative of National Defence University of Pakistan.
The senior members of the delegation made a courtesy call to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe and had cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest after which official plaques were exchanged to mark the occasion.
Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Air Commodore Nipuna Thanippuliarachchi, Chief Instructor Air Wing, Defence Services Command and Staff College on ‘Role and Task of the Sri Lanka Air Force’ and interactive question and answer session was held with the participation of members of the Air Force Board of Management and the Senior Staff Officers of the SLAF Directorates.
