Commander of the US Pacific Air Forces, General Kevin B. Schneider, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, today (23 June 2026) at Air Force Headquarters.

Upon arrival, General Schneider was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddika Piyasiri and was accorded a Guard of Honour presented by the SLAF Colour Wing. 

During the visit, the US Pacific Air Forces Commander also met with the Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff and Members of the Air Force Board of Management. The cordial discussions between the two Commanders focused on areas of mutual interest, including joint training and technical knowledge exchange. 

The official visit concluded with the exchange of plaques to mark the occasion.
