COMMANDER REVIEWS PROGRESS OF COLOMBO CENTRAL BUS TERMINAL RENOVATION PROJECT

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, visited the Colombo Central Bus Terminal, Pettah, today (27 July 2026) to review the progress of the ongoing renovation project.

During the visit, the Commander inspected the ongoing renovation works and reviewed the progress of the project with the officials and personnel involved. The inspection focused on the current status of construction activities and the implementation of planned improvements within the premises.

The Commander was briefed on the progress of key components of the project, including the construction and refurbishment of the service centre, solid waste management facility, staff accommodation areas and other infrastructure improvements.

The Commander also reviewed the progress of civil engineering works being carried out to improve the facilities and overall environment of the Colombo Central Bus Terminal.
