LEGAL AID PROGRAMMES TO ENHANCE LEGAL AWARENESS AMONG SLAF PERSONNEL
The Legal Division of the Sri Lanka Air Force successfully conducted the 7th and 8th Legal Aid Programmes for Air Force personnel at SLAF CTS Dla and SLAF Stn Wla on 28 and 29 August 2026, respectively. The programmes were conducted through a series of sessions covering a brief introduction to the legal system of Sri Lanka, Air Force Law, an introduction to the prevention of dangerous drugs and online gambling, an opportunity for common questions, and individual legal consultation sessions.
The programmes were organized with the objective of providing legal guidance and assistance to Air Force personnel on a range of legal matters encountered in their personal and professional lives. During the programmes, Legal Officers of the Legal Division at Sri Lanka Air Force Head Quarters provided legal consultations, guidance, and advice to personnel, enabling them to gain a better understanding of relevant legal procedures, as well as their legal rights and responsibilities.
