238 airmen who completed the Basic Gunner course passed out on 8th September 2011 from the Combat Training School Vanni.

This is the first batch trained at the Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School Vanni which shed its previous identity of 'SLAF Special Operations Group Vanni', on acquiring its new role as a school.

The Commanding Officer Wing Commander KH Ekanayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Passing out Parade.
