The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama conducted the annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) on 16t of September 2011.

The Commanding Officer of TTS, Group Captain LD Gunawardena received the Commander of the Air Force and welcomed him with a Guard of Honour.

Commander who toured the training area was visibly impressed by the innovative projects prepared by the various Trade trainees of the  TTS. The Commander then planted a mango plant during the course of his visit to the fruit orchard at TTS.

During  the address made by the Commander to all ranks, he congratulated all personnel for their efforts in the  AOC preparations. He emphasized the need to achieve professional excellence through training and highlighted the importance of building up a balanced life through spiritual development.
