SLAF Regiment Special Force troops based at the Morawewa recoveredmilitary equipment abandoned by the LTTE from the general area west of Kadawan on 27th September 2011.

During a jungle exercise, trainees on a compass march led by Sergeant Bandara observed an abandoned LTTE turret point and found the following after conducting a thorough ‘search and clear’ movement in the area.
