Blooming Buds 2011
The Blooming Buds 2011, annual concert of the Preschool of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake, concluded successfully on the 25th of November 2011 at the Astra Hall.
An eye catching evening ignited with a well presented cultural dance where 77 children displayed an attention-grabbing performance of dances, songs, nursery rhymes, speeches and drama made the evening unforgettable.
The chairperson of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrama graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore Ranil Gurusinghe, Mrs. Renuka Gurusinghe and formation CO’s were among the distinguished guests. The parents of the children were also present to witness the event.
