The Annual Concert of the Air Force Pre School Vauniya followed by the Annual Children’s Party and the Get –together of SLAF Base Vavuniya was held on 16th Dec 2011 for which a gathering of approximately 1200 personnel consisting of Air Force Personnel serving at SLAF Base Vavuniya with their families and the civillian staff serving along with their family members participated.

The full day programme was filled with an array of entertainment which included an UAV model air show, a dog show and a variety of games for the children, distribution of gift to the children by Santa Clause and  many more fun raising events. The annual concert performances of the Pre-School kids were an eye-catching display of talents which was good enough to keep the gathering fixed to their seats right throughout show. The Pre School concert was concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes by Mrs. Vasantha Fernando, wife of Air Commodore KFR Fernando, Base Commander, SLAF Base Vavuniya who graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The Air Force Beat Group and the Dancing Troup ensured the glamour and the colorfulness of the celebration with their professional performances which entertained the entire audience.
