The Equipment Provisioning and Accounting Unit at SLAF Base, Katunayake celebrated its first anniversary on 1st January 2012 with a religious ceremony.

The celebrations began day prior to the anniversary on 31 December 2011 with a Shramadana campaign conducted for the Prasanna Lama Niwasaya at Demanhandiya, Katana. In addition to the Shramadana, lunch was given to the children and staff on 1st January 2012.
