As per the directive of the Commander of the Air Force a plot of land belongs to SLAF Batticaloa was handed over to Valayaravu public on their request for a land for a primary school on” hand to our people by Air Force when in need “concept .

 A school building was constructed and it was declared open on 03rd January 2012 by the SLAF Unit Batticaloa Commanding Officer Wing Commander WMAB Wewegama. The construction of this school building was incalculably assisted from day one till inaugural ceremony by the SLAF unit Batticaloa.   

This timely necessity addressed by the Sri Lanka Air Force will immensely benefit the poor, innocent children around the Valayaravu area and will enhance their educational level in a magnificent way in time to come.
