A new Bank of Ceylon ATM machine was installed in Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya  and made operational w.e.f 02 Jan 12 after having ceremonially declared open by the Base Commander SLAF Base Vavuniya Air Commodore KFR Fernando.

The Assistant General Manger Northern Province Bank of Ceylon Mr. KED Sumanasri attended the event as the Chief Guest. The new facility will be beneficial for approximately1500 Air Force personnel serving at SLAF Base Vavuniya as well as the Air Force personnel of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Combat Training School SLAF Vanni and SLAF Station Mullaitivu who visit this base on transit frequently.
