The Visiting Air Chief Visits Jet Squadrons

The visiting Pakistani Air Chief, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Jet squadrons this afternoon (13 November2006) following the call on the Commander of the Navy this morning.

At his visit the visitor was enlightened by a presentation done by Group Captain Janak Wanigathunga regarding the functions of SLAF Base Katunayake, whilst a presentation on air operations was done by Wing Commander Shehan Fernando, Commanding Officer of the No 10 Squadron. Further, the guest got an opportunity to interact with many other SLAF officers present at the occasion at coffee.
