Seva Vanitha Unit Hands Over Houses Constructed Under the Half Construction Housing Project
Five houses constructed under the Seva Vanitha Half Construction Housing Project were ceremonially handed over to 5 service personnel at the Air Force Headquarters on 12 August 2020.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and the overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
The Ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias and the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Mayuri Prabhavi Dias. The Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Ruchira Samarasinghe, Members of Seva Vanitha Unit, Commanding Officers of respective SLAF establishments, Officers, Other Ranks and representatives from SVU were also present for the ceremony.
