Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Fire Fighter Rehabilitation Course

The certificate awarding ceremony of Fire Fighter Rehabilitation Course was held at the Fire School and Fire Tender Maintenance Squadron, Sri Lanka Air Force Base, Katunayake yesterday (18 August 2020).

The Commanding Officer of the Fire School and Fire Tender Maintenance Squadron, Wing Commander AKW Lakshman and the Chief Instructor, Squadron Leader HKA De Alwis, Officers, Instructors and Other Ranks of the Squadron were also present.

The 45 working days of training focused mainly on domestic Fire Fighting and Rescue, Fire Fighting Equipment, Fire Protection Systems, Fire Prevention and Casualty Transport Methods.

Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
